Tryon inadvertently left sanitation fee off bills

TRYON—Tryon utility customers who normally pay a sanitation fee will not see one this month as there was a clerical error. 

The Town of Tryon sent notice Monday afternoon that there was a clerical error on this month’s water bill with the sanitation fee inadvertently left off. The fee will be added to each customer’s account in the near future. 

Although some services have been scaled back for the town, sanitation service is continuing to operate as scheduled. 

All in town residents pay at least for water and sanitation services, with most also having sewer services on their monthly bills.
