The Town of Tryon had a discharge of untreated wastewater from manhole #10, located near the intersection of Braewick Rd and Melrose Avenue Ext causing an overflow of approximately 5000 gallons. The discharge occurred on 20 February 2020 and lasted for approximately thirty (30) minutes. The untreated wastewater entered into an unknown tributary of Little Creek.
This notice is required by North Carolina General Statutes Article 21, Chapter 143-215.1C.
