This Saturday, the Polk Winter Market will be a terrific way to dry off at The Rural Seed Restaurant from 9:00 a.m. to noon on February 8.
Local farmers, producers, crafters and artisans will gather for the weekly Polk County Winter Market. Products available range from leafy greens, carrots, radicchio, endive, eggs, meats, value added products such as homemade peanut butter and locally made chocolate, handmade crafts, pottery, wooden bowls and everything you need for your furbabies!
This week, joining the market will be Huney Gram Honey Bees with a limited amount of local honey for purchase. Erin Thompson from Thompson’s Landscape conducting a demonstration from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on how to use winter foliage to create a beautiful indoor tablescape.
The Rural Seed is located at 322 E. Mills Street in Columbus.
