Man stole merchandise from Tractor Supply Monday

COLUMBUS—The Columbus Police Department is seeking help identifying a suspect who committed larceny on Monday, Jan. 20 at Tractor Supply, located off Highway 108 in Columbus. 

The suspect allegedly spent about an hour in the store Monday and filled a cart with merchandise, then left with the cart without paying, according to Columbus Police Chief Scott Hamby.

Hamby said the suspect was driving a black Chevrolet Colorado truck and the license plate came back as stolen from this area. 

Hamby said there is video surveillance of the suspect, who is described as a white male, who was wearing a black baseball cap and a bright blue hooded sweatshirt.
