Editor’s note: The Polk County Board of Commissioners will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday December 2. The meeting will be held in the R. Jay Foster hall of Justice, located on the second floor of the Womack Building in Columbus.


  1. Call to Order -Chairman Melton.

 

  1. Invocation – Commissioner Moore.

 

  1. Pledge of Allegiance – Girl Scout Troop 1819.

 

  1. Annual Election of Officers – Attorney Berg.
  2. Election of Chairman.

         Motion to appoint Chairman.

  1. Election Vice-Chairman.

         Motion to appoint Vice-Chairman.

 

  1. Approval of Agenda (New Chairman Presides).
  2. Motion to approve agenda.

  2. Annual Examination of Bonds §58-72-20 for 

         Public Officials – Finance Officer, Register of 

         Deeds, Sheriff and Tax Collector. Bonds are
