LANDRUM- Many Landrum residents have seen the new freestanding structure being built beside Bi-Lo on highway 14 and Fairwinds drive in Landrum. There have been many questions, as it seems the building has been under construction for quite some time for a plan that was approved in April of this year. 

 

According to city clerk Rita Bruce, as of now there is no confirmed date on when the 4,800 square foot structure will be finished. Bruce did share that the structure is a part of an ongoing plan for growth.

 

As Landrum continues to grow there will be a need of space for businesses. The structure will be able to house up to four new businesses that could range from general to clothing stores when it is complete.
