TASTE of Landrum is a new type of food and wine event being held throughout the City of Landrum on Thursday, November 14 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.

 

Mindy Wiener, one of the event organizers comments, “We have been encouraged that we have collectively chosen the right locations when speaking with people who have inquired about the event. Many attendees & participants have commented that they didn’t know about some of the retail shops we have selected–even some that are in the middle of downtown. Our goal is to reinforce how many wonderful, small, independent shops exist in Landrum while appealing to people’s enjoyment of food & drink.”

 

2019 host locations are: Crawford’s Apothecary, Landrum Hardware, Millstone Gallery at The Collective, Mocha’s Mug, Pee Ridge Vintiques at The Collective, Sissy Boutique & Gifts, The Farm House Tack Shoppe, The Shops at LAM, The Yankee Peach, Whimsical World Gallery, White Buffalo Collectibles and Your Style by Classic Couture at The Collective. Landrum Hardware and Whimsical World Gallery will be the check in locations and Mocha’s Mug will host the post event reception.

 

Area chefs, farmers and food artisans are busy deciding their seasonal “tastes” this week so we can pair them with a variety of beverages. Some of this year’s food and beverage partners are: Buck & Brew, Hare & Hound, Harvest House, Landrum Farmers Market, Mama’s Little Doughboy, Mill Spring Farm Store, New Groove Brewery, O Darby’s Liquor Barn, Olive & Then Some, Southern Delights & More, Southside Smokehouse, Standing Stone Bakery, Stone Soup Market & Cafe, Tater Patch Farm and Two Sisters Cook.
