Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, with Emily G. Cowan presiding, 93 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Amanda Elyse Chavis was convicted of resisting public officer. Chavis was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Amy Leigh Fannon was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Fannon aws fined $40 and court costs.
Wanda Roxann Flores was convicted of failure to appear. Flores was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.
Charles Bradley Hair was convicted of resisting public officer. Hair was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Robert Vance McCraw was convicted of second-degree trespassing. McCraw was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served.
Matthew Franklin Prince was convicted of failure to appear on a misdemeanor. Prince was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for time served.
Kenneth Ray Shearin was convicted of failure to notify DMV. Shearin was fined $20 and court costs.
