The three highest classifications, 3A, 4A, and 5A will play at the University of South Carolina’s Williams-Brice Stadium the first weekend in December. The 1A and 2A games will take place at Benedict College. Landrum is in the 2A classification and would play at Benedict College should they advance all the way to the State Championship game.

Over the winter months, representatives from Clemson University approached the SCHSL Executive Directors with a proposal to bring the State Championship games Death Valley, however the committee voted that the SCHSL will continue to play the State Championship games in the state capital.

The Executive Directors and committee also voted in favor of keeping the current five classes in place when the SCHSL realigns the state starting in 2020. The vote to keep the classifications was unopposed with all 15 committee members voting in favor of keeping the five classes.
