Emberglow Outdoor Resort now taking reservations for the Fall

MILL SPRING—The Polk County community is getting a new outdoor living community that promises to be more than just a standard campground. Emberglow Outdoor Resort is located at 1270 Rock Spring Road, Mill Spring, and will begin hosting guests this fall.

Emberglow is now taking reservations over the phone, or through their website for the Fall season while they rap up construction at the site. Emberglow is nestled onto a 72-acre lot near the sandy beaches at Lake Lure, and a short drive away from Chimney Rock State Park.

Emberglow Outdoor Resort owner/operator Tim Murphy, a Charlotte native, said he was inspired to build a place in a beautiful natural setting in which friends and family can gather and make lasting memories. Murphy has experience working with Habitat for Humanity and their non-profit organization.

Emberglow offers a wide variety of lodging options, from bare bones to luxe, and will include: tiny-houses, restored vintage campers, deluxe yurts, pods, a geodesic dome and tree houses/lofts, as well as primitive and RV camping sites. On-site amenities will include a resort-quality pool, sand volleyball, nature trails, dog park, athletic fields, community fire pit, playground equipment and free Wi-Fi for guests.

“Nothing recharges the batteries like a little time away, especially in a natural setting,” Murphy said. “We want guests to come, stay, play and leave feeling refreshed. Whether you bring friends with you or make new ones here, Emberglow is about community and doing things for fun with other people.”
