In an effort to encourage students to focus on the upcoming end of grade tests and North Carolina final exams, Polk County Middle’s school counselors recently held a Star Wars Testing Theme Week. 

Throughout the week, students heard special Star Wars-themed announcements to provide encouragement and academic focus for the final weeks of school. All classrooms had testing signs and posters with testing tips for students. 

To culminate the week, PCMS staff dressed up as a variety of Star Wars characters and told students to stay away from the dark side and have a successful end of the year.
