Dan Whitten Leads Wildflower Walk at Pearson’s Falls

On March 26 the Tryon Garden Club will offer a Walk & Talk Guided hike up the 1/4 mile Pearson’s Falls trail along rushing Colt Creek to the 90’ waterfall. Pre-registration is required for all these walks.
Dan Whitten, SC Certified Naturalist and past President of the Upstate Chapter of the SC Native Plant Society, will point out early sprouting trees and the many blooming wildflowers along the Pearson’s Falls Trail. He will lead a walk from 10:30 am until 12:00 p.m. and repeat the walk at 2:00 p.m. ending at 3:30 p.m. Rain date is March 29.
It is necessary to pre-register. Group size is limited so all participants can hear and ask questions. Admission is charged. Please call the Gatehouse at 828-749-3031 to register.
