CLYDE ARLEDGE HENSON

TRYON – Clyde Arledge Henson, 90, of Tryon, passed away, Monday afternoon, March 18, 2019.
Born in Polk County, she was the daughter of the late Butler and Blanche Covil Arledge and widow of Albert Henson who passed away in 2014. Clyde was a charter member of Midway Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Jeanette Rhodes, Virginia Mills and Dot Mills; one grandson, Josh Howard.
Surviving are two daughters, Joan Howard (Lloyd), Bunny Williams (Harold); two sons, Darrell Henson and Richard Henson; one sister, Harriett Case; three grandchildren, Andrew Howard, Jay Howard and Nikki Williams and one great-grandson, Walker Howard.
The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday, March 22, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Midway Baptist Church.
A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2019 at Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Peter McDonald, Rev. William Swink and Rev. Mike Conner officiating.
Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to thank Regional Hospice for their excellent care over the past year and a special thanks to Lakeisha, Anita, Robyn and Casey from hospice.
