Celebrate 50 Years of a Very Hungry Caterpillar

Partnership for Children of the Foothills and the Polk County Public Library are teaming up to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Eric Carle’s famous, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.”
On Tuesday, March 19, at 10:30 a.m., join Partnership for Children of the Foothills for stories, snacks and fun activities celebrating everyone’s favorite caterpillar, at the Polk County Public Library’s Columbus branch, located at 1289 W. Mills St., Columbus, NC 28722.
We will also feature a repeat of the program on Wednesday, March 20, at 10:30 am at the Saluda branch, located at 44 W Main St, Saluda, NC 28773.
The events are free and open to the public, and participants will receive a 5 x 7 board book version of “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” while supplies last.
