Polk Middle’s Nature Navigators enjoy trek at Pearson’s Falls

Polk County Middle School’s hiking club, Nature Navigators, recently had a chance to explore Pearson’s Falls, located between Tryon and Saluda.

The students enjoyed walking along Colt Creek to see all of the water plummeting over the stunning falls. Plants like the walking fern were interesting to learn about and see growing in the rock ledges.

The Nature Navigators would like to thank Pearson’s Falls for the free admission and learning experience.
