James Bradford “Brad” Foster, 87, of 45 John Foster Road, Columbus, NC, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at his home. 

Brad was born in Polk County, NC on July 30, 1931, a son of the late Pearl (Hudson) Foster and Joseph Henry Foster. 

 

He was the husband of Earlene (McGraw) Foster, was a retired building contractor and was a member of Pacolet Baptist Church in Lynn, NC . 

 

In addition to his wife survivors include four daughters, Emily Dona’, of Columbus, NC; Cheryl Brock, of Tryon, NC; Leslie Mongold, of Todd, PA; Cindy Squirrel, of Cherokee, NC; a son, Joe Foster, of Lynn, NC; a sister, Genell Campbell, of Landrum, SC, 10 grandchildren and 16 great, grandchildren. He was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters. 

 

No services are planned.
