Valentine’s day and a wonderful love story?  What perfect timing for Tryon Little Theater’s opening night of “Mamma Mia”, running February 14-17 at the Tryon Fine Arts Center. Based on ABBA’s songs and seen worldwide by an estimated 80 million people, Director Dan Harvey believes theater goers will be dancing in the aisles—but they will be shedding a few tears too. 

 

“Will you help me Mom?” Sophie asks her mother as she gets ready for her wedding, in a touching scene that is sure to bring out the tissues. 

 

Hannah Searcy plays Sophie, and Susie Kocher is Donna, her mother, who experiences that surge of sadness when you feel you are losing your little girl.
