Polk County District Court Results – Jan. 9, 2019

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 94 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following were convicted of a crime:

Victor Manue Barcenas was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Barcenas was fined $40 and court costs.

Rhonda Denise Davis was convicted of second-degree trespassing. Davis was sentenced to one day in jail, with credit.

Summer Rae Daw was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Daw was fined $20 and court costs.

Kristen Edwards was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Edwards was sentenced to one day in jail, with credit.

Destiny Machel Gamble was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Gamble was sentenced to one day in jail, with credit.

Marshall L. Johnson was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Johnson was fined $40 and court costs.

Teasia B. McWhorter was convicted of rear seat belt violation. McWhorter was fined $50.
