Lucille Melton Bradley, 91, entered into eternal peace Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, at White Oak Nursing Home.

Lucille was born May 21, 1927, the daughter of James Vernon Melton and Elizabeth Melton.

Lucille was predeceased by her husband, JL Bradley; and son, Robert Bradley.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Ravan; and three grandchildren and their families.

Lucille loved planting flowers in the spring and summer, drinking coffee, and watching and reading decorating and cooking shows. Throughout her life, she worked as a nurse’s aide, in the textile industry, as convenience store clerk and as a caregiver.

Private family services were held Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, in the chapel at Petty’s Funeral Home, with Pastor David Grigg officiating. Burial followed at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
