The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Tryon is ringing in the New Year with a new name: Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Carolina Foothills.
Dedicated to promoting the ongoing search for truth, affirming the inherent worth of the individual and being a force for good in the community, UUFCF will continue to hold meetings at 835 N. Trade St. on the first and third Sundays of each month, representatives said.
“Although we primarily serve the Thermal Belt region, our membership is growing into the surrounding area so we voted to change our name from Thermal Belt Unitarian Universalist Fellowship to also encompass the Carolina Foothills,” said UUFCF board president Robin Edgar.
