Polk County District Court Results – Dec. 5, 2018

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 86 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following were convicted of a crime:

Brittany Hope Bagwell was convicted of resisting public officer and breaking or entering. Bagwell was sentenced to 40 days in jail with credit for time served.

Zachary Kent Bruce was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Bruce was fined $40 and court costs.

Jose Chavez-Baldovino was convicted of level-three driving while impaired. Chavez-Baldovino was sentenced to one-year unsupervised probation, a $200 fine, 72 hours of community service and court costs.

Spencer Davis Maxwell was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Maxwell was fined $40 and court costs.

Kevin Joseph Porter was convicted of a probation violation. Porter’s probation was revoked.

Obed Ramierez-Nolasco was convicted of level-four driving while impaired. Ramierez-Nolasco was sentenced to one-year unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.

Brayshun Jake Simpson was convicted of reckless driving to endanger and no operator’s license. Simpson was sentenced to one-year unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.

Martin T. Tux was convicted of level-five driving while impaired. Tux was sentenced to one-year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Christopher Williams was convicted of domestic violence protective order violation. Williams was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served.

William Alex Wolfe was convicted of felony possession of marijuana. Wolfe was sentenced to two-years supervised probation, 72 hours of community service, a $500 fine and court costs.
