Mitzi was active in the community, including being a member of the Green Creek Hounds and a past member of the Rotary Club.

Mitzi was a very giving person and often too generous for her own fault, which included giving away her own oven, which is why she could be frequently seen eating at Waffle House and at McGourty’s Pub on trivia night.

In addition to her parents, Mitzi was preceded in death by a brother, Todd Dimpsey.

Surviving are a daughter, Laura Weicker (Jim) of Columbus; a son, David Lindsey (Stephanie) of Mount Vernon, New Hampshire; four grandchildren, Dylan, Kate, Garrett and Connor; a brother, Robert Dimpsey of Illinois; and a sister, Joan Heart of Ohio. Also surviving is her ex-husband, Fred Lindsey (Susie) of Columbus.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
