Chapman Cultural Center is excited to learn that Tryon Fine Arts Center plans to expand its facility and build a new pavilion for arts education and for intimate performances.

As a Kennedy Center Partner in Education team with Spartanburg School Districts since 1996, Chapman Cultural Center is entering into the fourth year of partnership with TFAC in this prestigious program. This nationwide Partners in Education program is designed to assist arts organizations to partner with their local school systems, focusing on providing professional development in arts integration for teachers.

With the added space of this new pavilion, TFAC will be able to provide local and area teachers with instruction and tools to learn more about integrating the arts into subjects across the curriculum, with the goal of making learning more accessible for all students.
