Cole Pereira scored both goals for Polk Middle. The first came in the third minute and gave the Wolverines a 1-0 lead, with the second coming in the 46th minute as Pereira dribbled from deep in Polk’s end of the field, weaving through several Rugby defenders, before beating the goalkeeper into the left corner of the net.

“It was a very tough match. They played well and worked very hard,” said Polk Middle head coach Lennox Charles. “We responded and did a lot better job in the second half.”
