Grady A. Stewart Jr., 80, of Landrum, passed away on Oct. 2, 2018.  

He was the son of the late Grady A. Stewart and Zona Gladys Allen Stewart and husband of Joyce Tucker Stewart.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gowensville, and retired from Bommer Industries. He was a 1955 graduate of Landrum High School.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Tucker Stewart; two sons, Mitch Stewart (Angie) and John Stewart; a sister, Ann Carswell; two grandsons, Logan and Trevor Stewart; several nieces and nephews; and many friends who were like family. 

He was predeceased by his half-sister, Virginia Lawter.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at Petty Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, at Petty Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Lynn Stewart and Dr. Tommy Turner. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
