Polk County High School Marching Band raffling off new Ford Focus

The Polk County High School Marching Band announced its fall fundraiser last week.

The Cadets kicked off their season’s home opener by selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a brand new 2017 Ford Focus.

“We’re happy to have this new car and two great sponsors for this year’s fundraiser, in Stott’s Ford and Windstream Communications,” said fundraising event coordinator Sue Belden. “The new car is very nice, and extremely sharp looking. I feel that this is a fantastic prize that will both excite and motivate the PCHS community to participate by purchasing tickets, and benefit the PCHS Cadets as well.

“Part of what makes the Friday Night Football experience whole is the spirited Cadets and their unending enthusiasm and support. I’d like to thank the Polk County community in advance for supporting the Cadets by purchasing tickets for this drawing.”

Tickets for this event can be purchased by visiting Stott’s Ford during the week, or by stopping by the Windstream Tent at all PCHS Wolverine home games. The car can be seen at these locations as well.

The winner will be drawn by Superintendent Aaron Greene during halftime of the Wolverine home game on Oct. 26.

A full list of rules for the event is displayed at the raffle table, or can be found on the PCHS website at pchs.polkschools.org.
