The fourth annual Walk/Remembrance drew more than 400 people to Harmon Field Saturday evening, according to organizers’ estimates. The walk is done every year in remembrance of people who have died from suicide, and to bring awareness to mental health issues. The event featured free food and T-shirts, a dove release, speakers, music and a remembrance walk. This year’s walk was sponsored by Polk, Fresh and Friendly, and was funded through the Polk County Community Foundation. (Photos by Leah Justice/Tryon Daily Bulletin)
