The Polk Fit Challenge is made possible by grant support from the Polk County Community Foundation, including funding for the youth division from the Lois Miner Barrick Fund and Foundation Board Initiative funds.

Registration and participant information is available at polkfit.com. The first 300 adults and 150 youth to register will receive a free event T-shirt.

The public is invited to a kick-off event from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at Stearns Park. The event will offer free food and entertainment, including a DJ and activities to get attendees in the challenge spirit. Registration assistance will be available, as well as T-shirt pick-up.
