People may see the hundreds of submissions by guest and featured artists, spanning local to national origins.

After its opening, TACS has decided to provide one more night of celebration in “The Enchanted Forest.”

This will be the public’s last chance to see the premiere site of Mary Dill’s “Tree of Dreams” installation, which is pending review as the Guinness World Record designation of largest papier-mâché sculpture by an individual. The tree is fielding potential suitors for the next location where it may take root.

Tryon Arts & Crafts school will close out its “The Enchanted Forest” exhibit with a celebration from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. (Submitted photo)

In addition to the “Tree of Dreams,” the audience may enjoy music, poetry and literature. Artist and exhibit conceptualist Ruthie Rosauer will facilitate a signing of her book, “These Trees,” which takes its title from a poem of the same name by Carol Pierce Bjorlie.

Rosauer’s book pairs a selection of poets’ works with her original nature photography, much of which is displayed in large format in the gallery.

Bjorlie, too, will be present with her cello and poetry readings.

The public is invited to bring their own original, family-friendly poems that fit the theme of “The Enchanted Forest” for an informal live audience reading.

The event will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Tryon Arts and Crafts School, 373 Harmon Field Road, Tryon.
