Clarence William Booker, 75, of Tryon, North Carolina, died Friday Aug. 17, 2018, at Autumn Care in Saluda, North Carolina.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Johnnie Mae Booker, of the home; stepdaughter, Esther Mae Wilkins of San Antonio; stepson, William Wilkins of Atlanta; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Cleo Booker of Tryon, and Albert Booker of Black Mountain, North Carolina; six sisters, Bobbie Burns of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Marie Littlejohn, Olivia Booker and Syble Simpson, all of Tryon, North Carolina, Anna Byers-Jennings of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Joyce White of Cleveland; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Union Grove Baptist Church in Columbus, North Carolina. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
