Polk County’s junior varsity team made its home debut a successful one Tuesday, topping Tuscola 2-0 in a nonconference volleyball match.

The Wolverines improved to 1-1 with a 25-12, 25-20 victory.

Kylee Mullis had five kills, eight digs and an ace for Polk County, with Rachael Davis adding three kills and 10 digs. Emmie McDowell had 12 assists and six digs, with Rollins Carter finishing with 15 digs.

Polk County was back in action on Wednesday, traveling to Pisgah.
