Polk County District Court Results

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, with Judge Fritz Mercer presiding, 147 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Stacy Camp Baughman was convicted of second-degree trespass. Baughman was fined $10 and court costs.

Pressley Antoni Davis was convicted of simple assault. Davis was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served.

Heather Deloris Hart was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Hart was fined $20 and court costs.

Nicholas Wesley Jolley was convicted of breaking and/or entering and larceny after break/enter. Jolley was sentenced to four to 14 months in prison with 55 days credit, two years of supervised probation and $3,800 in restitution.

Kentonio M. McDowell was convicted of level-five driving while impaired. McDowell was sentenced to 24 hours of community service, 12 months of unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Michael David Milford was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Milford was fined $100.

Leonal Estuar Morales was convicted unsafe movement. Morales was fined $20 and court costs.

Braeden Rankin was convicted of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Rankin was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit.

Jonathan G. Storlie was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Storlie was fined $40.

Desmond J. Whiteside was convicted of fleeing/eludeing arrest with a motor vehicle and speeding 120 mph in a 70 mph zone. Whiteside was sentenced to 12 months of unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.
