Local youth camp takes time to have fun, cool down this summer

Local youth took a short road trip to the Shipwreck Cove Waterpark, of Duncan, and enjoyed a cool down from the hot summer days.

The group are participants of the Summer Enrichment Camp, sponsored by the Unity in the Community Organization and funded by the Polk County Community Foundation.

Instructors Martha Staley, Bryson Martin, Alexis Greene, Mitchell Brown, Heber Najera, along with other volunteers, made the trip with youth. John P. McIntyre is camp’s director.
