Polk County District Court Results – June 25

In Polk County District Court on Monday, June 25, 2018, with Judge Athena Brooks presiding, 98 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

John Allen Albree II was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Albree was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time served.

Julie Ann Brockway was convicted of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Brockway was sentenced to 19 days in jail with credit for time served.

Bradley Keith Gevedon was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Gevedon was sentenced to 18 months probation, $1,920 in restitution and court costs.

Anderson M. Horne was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Horne was fined $40 and court costs.

Zachary Jospeh Padgett was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Padgett was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Kelly Jean Pairman was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Pairman was fined $20 and court costs.

Jennifer Lea Scanlon was convicted of misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Scanlon was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for time served.

Jonathan S. Workman was convicted of carrying a concealed gun. Workman was sentenced to five days in jail, with credit for time served.
