Willie Laughter, of Tryon, passed away on June 18, 2018.

He worked for Polk County EMS for 30 years as a paramedic and instructor. He loved all outdoor activities and Disney.

He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Mary Laughter; six brothers; and a sister. 

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Gay Laughter; daughter, Aquasha Garcia (Ricky); granddaughters, Annica and Autumn Wilson; sister, Linda Tucker; brothers, Oscar and Homer Laughter; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The Columbus Fire Department will hold a celebration of life service on  Aug. 11, 2018, at 5 p.m. Arrangements by Valley Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Roanoke, Virginia, 540-562-1182.
