Thanks for all the support

It has been eight months since I had an unfortunate accident in my home, when the power went out suddenly and I fell down the basement stairs.
I was not discovered for several hours and, when I came to in the hospital, I had suffered a brain lesion and several other painful injuries. It has taken me all this time to recover from this injury, most of which was spent in New York State with my daughter as my caretaker.
I am writing to tell you that I have returned to my home in Tryon, and I have recuperated from that horrible accident.
This is a letter of thanks to all of the residents of our area who came to my aid after the fall and who kept up my spirits throughout the holidays, with visits and messages of good will. I took time after my return to read through the cards and letters again, and I was amazed at the love that was directed toward me during the long rehabilitation period spent at physical therapy and with other doctors care in New York State.
I am so happy to be back home again and I wish to see everyone who wished me well over the winter months. Thank you to all of you and keep on the lookout for art gallery shows.
I am back watercolor and silk painting, so I will be entering my work into the events around Tryon. This is a caring community, and I feel that it is my pleasure to live amongst all of you.
