Meghan Nespeca will be hosting a reception at the opening of her show at The Depot Room from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 22.

Nespeca is a local textile artist whose insatiable love for color has found its home in the hand made textile art she creates. Hand dying, painting on both fabric and paper, stamping and personal writings are all components of her work, which are then sewn into art quilts and framed textile pieces.

Her work is rooted in hope, nostalgia and deep sentiment in the everyday as well as the exceptional. Nespeca describes her work as a “remembrance of heart.”

The show can be seen from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday  at 22 Depot St, the home of Parsec Financial Wealth Management. Guests are asked to use the deck entrance.
