Polk Central students get their hands dirty

Published 8:00 am Saturday, June 9, 2018

Dianne Davis and Jan McGuinn, Farm Bureau Women’s Committee members, worked with Polk Central after school June 5 to plant pumpkins. The project had been delayed three weeks due to rain. Weeds were pulled from beds, and then pumpkins seeds planted. The children were instructed on how long it would take for the pumpkins to actually grow. (Submitted by Carmon Collie)
