Polk County’s Reese Alley and Bella Marino have earned all-region honors as chosen by the North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association.

Alley and Marino were two of four 1A players chosen from Region 10. Murphy’s Katelyn Jones and Calicity Kelley were also selected for the team.

Alley anchored midfield this season for Polk County, with Marino a standout on defense for the Wolverines.

Jones was also named to the NCSCA 1A all-state squad, the only player from Western North Carolina chosen.
