Live music to serve as kick off for summer reading at Landrum Library

People may kick off some summer reading at with a performance by Friction Farm — an acoustic duo of traveling troubadours who combine storytelling, social commentary and humor through their music — at the Landrum Library. Friction Farm’s performance will start at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The event will be free and open to all. The show will move indoors in the event of rain. Pig on Fire Barbecue will on hand for those wishing to purchase a meal. (Submitted by Matthew Johnson)
