Polk County Public Libraries are commanded by the Queen to invite guests to its Royal Wedding Tea Party on Tuesday at 2 p.m.

A reply is requested to jdickenson@polklibrary.org or (828) 894-8721, ext. 227, by Monday.

The Columbus Library will host a traditional British tea to celebrate the upcoming royal wedding. Guests may enjoy hot tea, scones and finger sandwiches while they learn about the art of afternoon tea from Kym with A Southern Cup Fine Teas, and practice the etiquette techniques that Meghan Markle will have to master before she becomes the first Duchess of Sussex.
