Be a Voice 4 Kids Inc. will host its first annual community softball tournament on Saturday, May 19.

A rain date is scheduled for June 2. Games will be held at Polk County Middle School recreation fields.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. Start time is 10 a.m.

This fundraising event is to help the organization fund its family resource center.

Everyone ages 14 and up are eligible to play. Family activities for children and nonparticipating players will be available as well.

During the day, there will be a home run tournament for both adults and children. Tournament champions win T-shirts and more. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. People may also play the spinning dizzy game for the day’s finale.

Early registration ends this Saturday. Registration for teams and players can also be on the day of the event.
