In a presentation last week at Therapeutic Riding of Tryon, The Knights of Columbus Council 9492, St John’s Tryon, presented a $1,000 check to Allison Rhyne. The money was raised locally by the knights as part of the LAMB (Least Among My Brethren) Foundation, a statewide nonprofit run by the Knights of Columbus to aid those with intellectual disabilities. The TROT program will use these funds to give scholarships to young people in need of the organization’s assistance. The program has 23 students, 12 horses and 60 volunteers. Pictured are, from left: Pete Crandall, Allison Rhyne and Tom Furey. (Submitted by Ann Crandall)
