Spring concert series to returns to TFAC amphitheater May 3
The Tryon Fine Art Center’s spring weekly outdoor concert series, Sunset Series, returns every Thursday in May.
Five performances are set to take place May 3 through 31. Each performance starts at 7 p.m. as the sun is setting over the Blue Ridge Mountains in the Peterson Amphitheater.
The Sunset Series is sponsored by the Plume Family Foundation.
Regional favorites Fayssoux McLean and Brandon Turner open the series with their signature bluesy Americana on May 3.
Indie folk duo Brother Bluebird performs on May 10.
William Florian, a member of the 1960s band New Christy Minstrels, takes the stage on May 17.
May 24 brings New Appalachian music from Zoe & Cloyd to the amphitheater.
The 2018 Sunset Series wraps up with the Dan Keller Jazz Trio on May 31.
