Friends of Agriculture to host seventh breakfast of season Wednesday

Polk County’s Office of Agricultural Economic Development and Polk County Farm Bureau invites the public to the seventh​ Friends of Agriculture Breakfast of the season, which will be held on Wednesday at 7 a.m.

Please note the new location of this free event at the Green Creek Community Center, located at 25 Shields Drive, Tryon.

Each Friends of Agriculture breakfast features a local food breakfast and an educational presentation on areas of interest to local farmers, gardeners and food enthusiasts. This month’s breakfast will feature a presentation by Chef Sarah McClure, of Landrum’s Southside Smokehouse.

Polk County’s AED office is seeking volunteers to help with the operation of this event. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Dawn Jordan at djordan@polknc.org or call 828-894-2281.
