During the month of March 2018, the Tryon Fire Department answered 85 calls for service.

There were two structure fires, one structure fire-AA, one woods/brush fire, one woods/brush fire-MA, one cooing fire, one trash fire, one prescribed burn, one vehicle fire, five odor or smoke, one CO detector-false, one smoke detector-false, eight public service, two assist law enforcement, one assist local government, three health and welfare check, six motor vehicle accidents, three power lines down, 11 hazardous conditions (trees down in road), four hazardous conditions and 31 EMS calls.
