Participants will work with three colors and a black pen to create anything from wild-haired chickens to friends and neighbors in loose and colorful style.

In other events, Dr. Lisa Broyles’ program, “Bones, Groans and Moans” offered in March was so well received that SLIP will be scheduling a second program in May. Broyles will provide suggestions and resources for improving bone health, reducing inflammation and improving one’s mood.

Also in May, SLIP will sponsor a tour and wine tasting at the Parker-Binns Winery in Mill Spring.

SLIP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that helps equip older adults in the greater Saluda community to live independent, vibrant, healthy and active lives.
