Time the get ready to grow vegetables. I don’t know of a more satisfying feeling than planting a seed and getting a bounty of food in return. 

If you want to make that vegetable garden really grow well this year, take the time to attend the 2018 Polk County Extension vegetable gardening class on April 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Extension center located at 79 Carmel Lane in Columbus.

The class will cover everything from soil to variety selection to insects and diseases. Both conventional and organic methods will be discussed.

This is a free class but remember free doesn’t mean without value, this class has extreme value to those that want to be successful vegetable gardeners.
