Columbus Police Officer resigns after DWI arrest

COLUMBUS—A Columbus Police Officer resigned this week after being arrested for driving while impaired.

Columbus Police Chief Scott Hamby said officer Justin Glisson, 24, resigned Wednesday morning after being arrested by the Hendersonville Police Department.

Glisson was arrested following a traffic stop in Hendersonville Tuesday night, according to reports.

Glisson worked for the Columbus Police Department the past 15 months. He was assigned as an officer at St. Luke’s Hospital.
