Polk County District Court Results

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, with Judge T. Mack Brittain presiding, 130 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Courtney D. Campbell was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Campbell was fined $40 and court costs.

Deirdre Marie Green was convicted of failure to appear. Green was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.

Nicholas K. Justice was convicted of a probation violation. Justice was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for 12 days.

Jennifer S. Kondylas was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Kondylas was fined $40 and court costs.

Chucky Tyrone McEntyre was convicted of a probation violation. McEntyre was sentenced to 90 days in jail.

David Edward Melton was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance. Melton was sentenced to six days in jail, with credit for time served.

Kwaku Kobie Moore Jr. was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Moore was fined $40 and court costs.

Casey Ray Robinson was convicted of larceny of a motor vehicle. Robinson was sentenced to two year supervised probation, 30 days in jail with credit, a $200 fine and court costs.

Juan Daniel Weathers was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Weathers was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, $500 in restitution, a $50 fine and court costs.
